Aldi is expanding in the UK, opening nine new stores this year, focusing on London. Here’s where you can find them!
London: Aldi is on the move! They’re opening nine new stores this year. That’s part of a big investment plan. They’re putting in £55 million just for London.
So far, we know about four locations. They’re in Wimbledon, Fulham Broadway, Orpington, and Caterham. Exciting, right?
But wait, there’s more! Aldi is also upgrading existing stores. The Colindale store in North West London will get an extension.
This is just a piece of a larger £650 million investment across the UK by 2025. Aldi wants to make shopping easier for everyone.
They aim to open 100 more stores in London. This could create around 3,500 jobs. That’s a big deal!
Jonathan Neale, Aldi’s managing director, believes everyone deserves access to affordable food. He’s right! Many people in London still can’t reach an Aldi.
Neale added that it’s not fair for shoppers to pay high prices at other stores. That’s why they’re focusing on London. They want to help more people save money.
