Wetherby: A local man is really fed up. Alan Stubbs, a grandad of six, is tired of cars crashing near his home. Recently, a car smashed into his garden wall, ruining his hedge.

He lives by the A168, and it seems like accidents happen all the time. This latest crash left a huge hole in his wall. Alan said it’s a shame because he worked hard to plant that hedge.

The crash happened around 1:35 PM on a Sunday. A woman was taken to the hospital, and two others were hurt. Alan mentioned that since the road changed from the A1, things have gotten worse.

He heard a loud bang and thought something fell in his house. When he looked out, he saw the cars piled up. It shocked him, even though he’s used to the noise.

Alan worries every time he crosses the road, especially with his grandkids. He just wants some peace and safety. He’s asked drivers to use a different entrance to help reduce traffic.

North Yorkshire Police confirmed the crash involved two cars. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported. An ambulance took one person to the hospital. Alan just wants the chaos to stop.
