London: Like many places, Britain is facing a real issue with lone wolf terrorists. These individuals can radicalise themselves online and act without any group support.

They often hold twisted beliefs, like religious hatred or racism. Research shows that while some are radicalised in places like work or prison, more are now finding disturbing content online.

Take David Copeland, for example. In 1999, he targeted minorities in London with nail bombs. His attacks injured 129 people and killed three, including a pregnant woman. He wanted to start a race war and is now in a secure mental hospital.

Then there’s Thomas Mair, who murdered MP Jo Cox in 2016. He shot her and stabbed her multiple times while shouting extremist slogans. He’s serving a life sentence and will never get out.

In another incident, Darren Osborne drove into a crowd of Muslims outside a mosque, killing one and injuring nine. He’s now facing a long prison term.

And let’s not forget Jake Davison, who went on a shooting spree in Plymouth in 2021. He killed five people, including a toddler, after being influenced by misogynistic online content.

These cases show how serious the threat is. It’s a growing concern for everyone in Britain.
