North Yorkshire: A sad discovery was made when a dead dog was found in a suitcase. It happened in Guisborough, where a person was out cleaning up litter.

The suitcase was hidden in some undergrowth. Inside was a young female dog, a mix of Rottweiler and German Shepherd. The poor thing was in bad shape and had been decomposing.

RSPCA Chief Inspector Mark Gent arrived to collect the remains after being alerted. They found a microchip, which led them to a woman who had bred the dog. She mentioned that the dog was one of 13 puppies she sold two years ago.

The breeder thought the dog was named Blue but couldn’t provide any details about the new owner. Now, the RSPCA is asking for help. They want anyone who recognizes the suitcase, which has a silver logo, to come forward.

Chief Inspector Gent expressed how upsetting the scene was. He thanked the person who reported it and urged anyone with information to reach out. If you know anything, call the RSPCA at 0300 123 8018 and mention reference number 01427427.
