Police arrived at a home on Lark Rise around 1:15 PM on January 17. Sadly, they discovered the woman had already passed away.

A 67-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He’s been released on bail while the investigation continues.

Detective Inspector Guy Biggard mentioned that the suspect and the victim knew each other. Thankfully, they’re not looking for anyone else, and there’s no threat to the public.
