Rotherham: A shiny new service station just opened on the M1. It cost a whopping £40 million and is set to help out tons of drivers.

Welcome Break Rotherham is located at Junction 33. It opened last Friday, but the launch was delayed due to some heavy snow.

The main building is huge, about 32,000 square feet. Inside, you’ll find seven food spots, a retail area, and even a play area for kids.

There’s also a cozy business lounge for those who need to work on the go. It’s a great spot to grab a coffee or a bite to eat.

They’ve created around 230 jobs here, which is fantastic news. You can find popular places like Starbucks, KFC, and Burger King.

The design is pretty cool too, with a market town vibe and lots of natural light. Kids can enjoy a small funhouse while parents take a breather.

Getting there is easy. Vehicles enter from the A630 Rotherway and exit onto the Parkway. The roundabout has been widened to handle more traffic.

An official opening event is happening next Saturday, with live music and giveaways. This is Welcome Break’s 60th service station in the UK, filling a gap between two others.
