A serious assault in Plymouth’s West Hoe area has left one person injured, prompting a significant police response and ongoing investigations.
People in the neighborhood were understandably worried. They saw armed police rushing to a block of flats. Witnesses mentioned seeing someone getting CPR, which is really alarming.
The police got the call around 8:55 PM. They found a person seriously hurt on West Hoe Road. Paramedics treated them right there before taking them to the hospital.
Detective Chief Inspector Dave Pebworth reassured everyone that this seems to be an isolated incident. He urged folks to stay away from the area while they search for the suspect.
