York: The latest figures show house prices in Yorkshire. In November, the average home cost £214,636. That’s a 0.8% rise from October.

Bradford’s average was £188,046, showing a 0.2% rise. Sheffield’s average was £223,607, but it actually saw a slight decrease of 0.3%.
Rotherham’s average price was £196,988, up by 1.7%. Barnsley’s average was £171,191, but it dropped by 0.7% from October.
Doncaster’s average was £177,995, with a 1.4% increase. North Yorkshire had an average of £276,837, showing a small rise.
York’s average price was £317,137, but it decreased by 0.9%. Hull’s average was £144,918, with a 0.4% increase.
Experts are watching these trends closely. David Hollingworth from L&C Mortgages mentioned the dip in inflation is good news for borrowers.
He noted that while rates might still rise, the fall in inflation could lead to a base rate cut in February. It’s a bit of a mixed bag right now.
